My goal was to capture the album’s sonic texture — harsh, reverb-heavy, and emotionally dense — through layered collage, raw typography, and a deliberately dark visual tone. I used a restrained palette with sudden flashes of red and neon pink to echo the unexpected intensity and chaos in the music.
Typographic choices play a key role here, shifting between heavy gothic structures and fragmented letterforms that reflect the album’s abrasive energy. The result is a visual system that doesn’t explain the music, but extends its mood and emotional frequency.

This project is a visual exploration of an album ‘Worship’ by A Place To Bury Strangers — a noisy, distorted, and visceral album that I set out to translate into graphic form.
